Authorised dispensing

MAXIFUEL protection usually starts at the nozzle where automated access control and strict authorisations prevent theft before it happens. This includes mobile dispensing.

Pumps remain locked until personnel and assets are authenticated. Odometer reading and cost/usage allocations (activity, location, route, etc.) are captured during authorisation for analysis later .

Why It Works

  • identification creates accountability

  • electronic monitoring ensures precision (decimals of a litre)

  • digital recording prevents fraud and error

  • odometer capture enables vehicle consumption analysis

  • usage analysis adds insight to management decision-making

  • automation reduces admin and errors.

This first component of MAXIFUEL protection delivers immediate financial savings.

Accurate tank data is recommended to cross-validate issue logs.  Reconciling ATG data with individual issues and deliveries can pinpoint thefts - when, where, and by whom.

Mobile dispensing

Remote dispensing from mobile bowsers carries higher theft risks.

MAXIFUEL Mobile protects fuel wherever it’s stored or dispensed.

Mobile Adaptations:

  • 12V/24V DC power integration

  • enhanced surge protection

  • controller installed away from harsh conditions- weather, dust and vibration

  • electronic access control & authentication - same as static tanks

  • default data transfer using MaxiFlash memory stick

  • optional Wi-Fi or (real time) GSM for data transfer

  • integrated mobile tank level monitoring

  • optional real time ATG alerts to unexpected level changes

  • optional GPS for geo-locating and tracking issues and tank levels.

Mobile tank levels must be monitored - electronic or dipstick - and reconciled with  remote issues and transfers in from home-base tank.

Vehicles and machines in remote locations are highly vulnerable to theft. On-board (OBD) ATG can alert managers to unexpected losses from asset tanks in real time.

How basic issuing works

Between issues, MAXIFUEL locks the pump.

This very basic example is fairly typical of a farm process simple enough for driver self-service:

  1. Scan Driver proximity card.                                                 Could also scan fingerprint, barcode, QR code, Dallas      button, or smart card.

  2. Select from Vehicle list (Up/Down/Enter).

  3. 'Select Activity' from a list                                                      Could be Location, Cost Centre, Crop, Task, etc.                         (multiple allocations possible)                                                 Could also be scanned or tagged.

  4. 'Enter Odometer' and Confirm (optional)

  5. Access rules for Driver and Vehicle checked.

  6. Once 'approved', controller unlocks the pump.                    and measures the flow (litres).

  7. Once flow ceases, issue is logged.                               Identities, litres and other captured data is logged, sent to the cloud or collected offline.

   8. The controller re-locks the pump.

Sophisticated enhanced issue management

Between issues, MAXIFUEL locks the pump.

More enhanced processes may include

  • a variety of identification methods and technology

  • more entities connected to each issue

  • more complex rules applied to authorising every identity

  • more additional data captured to enrich issue records

  • various electronic methods for controlling and measuring fuel.

MAXIFUEL defaults to proximity tagging but offers an unparalleled choice of alternatives - fingerprint, barcode/QR-code (corded or wireless), Dallas, rewritable smart card and PIN/OTP entry. These can all be used in tandem e.g. fingerprint and tags.

MAXIFUEL defaults to 'memory stick' data transfer but more convenient methods are also available - Ethernet, WIFI and GSM - with a choice of data platforms - cloud, on-premise or hybrid environments.

MAXIFUEL's configurable terminal is capable of managing multiple processes e.g. issues, deliveries, dipsticks and car washes.

Control mechanisms include relays - for mechanical pumps or solenoid valves - and sophisticated electronic  interfaces - for electronic pumps), high speed transfer pumps, encoders, POS controllers, RFID nozzles, etc.

MaxiFuel collects electronic data  from flow meters, pulsers, and tank sensors. Odometer readings are always recorded for consumption analysis but data capture includes cost/usage allocations, purchase order no, and importantly, odometer. â€‹
