Tank level monitoring

Accurate tank monitoring is essential for fuel security even though it cannot directly prevent theft.

Precise continuous ATG data can identify theft by comparing tank level changes with issue and delivery details. This complete bird's eye view of fuel movements exposes discrepancies and diagnoses theft - when, where, how and who.

But highly accurate tank volumes and continuous logging are essential for this diagnostic to work. Generally electronic issue measuring is much more precise than tank volume computations. Automated delivery measuring is the same.

Manual dipsticks might indicate cumulative loss over time -  but only approximately. Low-cost ATG, being automatic, is a step up from a manual dipstick, but it may not provide the required continuity or precision.

Manual dipstick readings can be logged via the authorisation terminal or the MAXIFUEL Mobile App, making them digital to streamline admin.

Vehicles on the road and unsupervised machines in remote locations are highly exposed to risk. On-board (OBD) ATG can be installed in  asset fuel tanks to alert managers in real time to unexpected level changes.
